5-year outlook–

5-year outlook: Not shown because confidence is low: Earnings-based DCF agrees.

Why: Dividends are a large share of earnings, so the cash paid to shareholders is the best guide to value.

Details and the full model are below.

EV/Sales (Rule of 40)

Market price below modeled range

Showing the EV/Sales (Rule of 40) you selected on the company card, using 4.68% growth, 2.6% terminal growth and 9.8% discount. The range varies these assumptions slightly; it is illustrative, not investment advice. Low confidence: the modelled value is far from the market price, which usually means the model does not capture this company well (for example expected growth well above its history).

Assumptions: growth 4.68%, discount rate 9.80%, terminal growth 2.60% (sector defaults). See a worked example.

Blended growth assumption: 4.7% (sector default 5.8%, own revenue history 2.4%, analyst revenue consensus 5.3%).

Analyst consensus expects revenue growth of 5.3% a year; the growth assumption used is 4.7%.

  • Recommended: Dividend discount model — GBP 2.04 (-73.7%)
  • EPS-based Gordon proxy — GBP 4.45 (-42.6%)
Not used: Treats all earnings as if paid out and ignores the cash kept for reinvestment, so it overstates value for companies that retain most profit.
  • DCF (trailing free cash flow) — not applicable
Not used: Cannot be computed: free cash flow is zero or negative.
  • FCFF (steady state) — not applicable
Not used: Cannot be computed: free cash flow is zero or negative.
  • EV/EBITDA (12x) — GBP 15.73 (+102.7%)
Not used: Used only when free cash flow is far below earnings even after averaging three years; a fixed 12x multiple also ignores sector differences.
  • Fade DCF (10-year growth fade) — not applicable
Not used: Cannot be computed: free cash flow is zero or negative.
  • EV/Sales (Rule of 40) — GBP 43.06 (+454.9%)
Not used: Used only for technology and communication companies whose cash-flow value is far below the price.

Margin = (value − price) / value, so it is measured against the value and reads lower than the upside to value, which is measured against the price. Positive means the price is below that case.
